First Sunday rideout of the Year

It was very cold day for a ride out  in Jersey today. The temperature reached approximately 5 degrees, but 7 of us from the 79er's Old Timers Scooter Club decided to head out and battle the cold. We met at The Weighbridge in St Helier for a quick coffee before heading out for a ride to Le Braye on the west side of the island. I was happy I was wrapped up warm as it was absolutely baltic. When we arrived at Le Braye we were met by some of our friends from the LQQ Scooter Club. It was good to catch up with them as it had been a while since we had seen them. Just before we decided to head off the rain began to start along with a slight hail storm. But we all got back home in one piece. There is nothing that would put us hardcore scooterists off! There will definitely be more rideouts to come throughout the year.
